Materials

You will use yarn, colorful beads, scissors, and pink construction paper.

Only scissors and a pencil are needed for this craft.

Steps

Firstly, cut up a string long enough to make a necklace.

Next, tie one end of the yarn to a bead to prevent it from slipping out.

Then have the child string one bead at a time to create a necklace to his or her liking.

Once completed, use the pink construction paper to cut a heart to create a pendant for the necklace.

Lastly, tie the heart at the middle of the necklace.

The colorful necklace is ready to give on Mother’s Day.

Modifications

You can use assorted beads and any beads to your liking.

There is no need to add a heart pendant.
